Foothill Gold Line Light Rail construction in Metrolink’s Pomona North Station – Ongoing (current reconfiguration thru January 15, 2024)

Construction Activity: As part of the 9.1- mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project, crews will continue rebuilding the Pomona North Metrolink parking area. In the next phase of construction, crews will demolish and rebuild the center section of the parking lot, temporarily eliminating vehicle thru traffic and creating two temporary parking areas (one on the east side of the closed section and one on the west side).

Metrolink’s Pomona North Station Parking lot: The west side (which will only be accessible using Fulton Rd. during this work) will include approximately 64 parking spaces and 8 handicap spaces. The east side (which will only be accessible using Santa Fe St. during this work) will include approximately 51 parking spaces with NO handicap spaces. A temporary pedestrian walkway will be available through the closed parking area, but vehicles will not be allowed through.  Please be aware of construction signage and barricades throughout the parking lot separating the available parking spaces from the on-going construction activities.

Traffic Advisories: Riders using the parking area on the westside of the closure must enter using the northbound Fulton Rd. entrance (right-in, right-out access only). Riders using parking area on the eastside of the closure must use the Santa Fe St. driveway, accessible from southbound Garey Ave. or eastbound Arrow Hwy to northbound Pine St.
